What’s interesting about this year’s showcase is that VP of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg, has already announced pre-show that everything featured in the Showcase (from a first-party perspective) will be made up entirely of ‘either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics.’ However, Xbox does have a huge lineup in development and it’s expected that we’ll see a lot of the games that were announced a couple of years ago.
